I like the comparison of the those amorous fireflies to a "sea of brilliant stars." The moonbeams also allude to the romance of the moon and its influence on the mating of teeming things.

Thank you! I am so worried about her, she keeps going back to the hospital.
    She sounds very positive, though.

    Love you ❤️

The moonbeam was created by a bug, how funny. He was spying on the amorous dance by fireflies. Your Tankas are very good, very expressive and poetic.

Well done.

This Tanka poem really does live up to its brief as it evokes wonderful imagery. The twinkling lights of the lively firefly that remind us of shooting stars in the depths of the night. It makes me wonder if the stars can be considered to be amorous. Much enjoyed. kay

Thank you very much for your time, kind review, and helpfull feedback. With tanka you can use personification. It's a poetic idea, not factual.

That is a gorgeous poem and the art is lovely, too. I'm glad I save one six star because you deserve it. I've always loved watching fireflies and this brings back fond memories. I've seen very few for the last few years;.
