If you forgive you are setting yourself free of grudges and bitterness; if you can forget, that will give you freedom to think clearly. Your poem is so fitting; the seven words you wrote are very good.

So true! In seven words you have given the remedy to so much mental, emotional, and spiritual suffering. Once one can forgive the burden can't keep a person in the past. Best wishes in the contest!

This is a good entry for the contest. Your words are so true, forgiveness gives us personal freedom. It is not easy to forget the wrong, but when we forgive we break the chains on our own life.
