Way to go, Dad. All that psychology right down the drain (whoops, couldn't help it).
Nice story. Nicely written.
Wonder what Jackie might withhold next time.
Best wishes.

Lol. Thank you Wayne. Yes, I think he learnt here that at at times it's best to listen first!

True story, my son and his three daughters! He'll listen better next time, I am sure. This happened last week.

Yew. Germs! LOL...

That sounds like something any one of my grands would do or say...

Love all that affection but...

The toilet!

Argh!

My sentiments exactly! Lol. I think he rushed to wash his mouth out and scrub his face and arms. Hopefully he'll listen better to his eldest in the future! Thanks for reviewing!

I can see why the names have been changed. Do those individuals read FS now, or are they old enough. This story will be told with a chuckle years down the road.

Lol. Thank you Paul. This just happened last week. The eldest reads well, but not the younger two. Yes, I am sure it'll be a recurring story.

This is hilarious. How often have parents pushed their childrens 'important' news away, when in fact it really was not only important but urgent as well. kay

Lol, yes, I think the father may do a better job of listening from now on! Thank you for reviewing! Always appreciated.

Lol! Another writer here told a similar story about her niece who would use her mother's toothbrush to clean their dog's teeth! Oh dear ! But Jackie wouldn't know any difference. I like the suspense you added with the dad wanting to know if he was getting a "tale" or not.
