That's pretty good, Willie. It was more meaningful to me once I read your note. It appears that your wife has passed on. I am very sorry about that, but it seems that she was a very important part in bringing up your children. That's a fine photograph.

-Thanks for sharing the photo, notes, and poem, Willie.
-I like your theme of "garden of love" "petals...sent from above."
-A loving tribute to your wife and children that shows
how much you loved her, and how she loved you and the children.
-All of your imagery of nature is a perfect way to honor her.
-My favorite line is
"Each petal different as a flake of snow."
-Well done. Have a great day and week ahead.

I feel the same about my own garden. Far from perfect but good people. I like how you give the credit of the offspring to the gardener, presumably your wife. I'm sure you did your part in nurturing your children. Great poem. Gretchen

Wow. Unclad the four of them would be hard to tell apart. Do they take after you or your other half? ...........................................................................................

This was such a sweet poem about you and your dear family, Willie. It sounds like you and your wife "tended" the kids very well to become the garden that never disappoints. Lovely sentiments in a lovely poem.

This poem is a beautiful tribute to the love and nurturing of a family. The metaphor of a "garden of love" is a unique and powerful way to express the different personalities and roles of family members. The use of flower petals as a representation of each member is a poignant and touching image. The final lines, where the speaker's angel has tended to the garden with love, brings a sense of peace and warmth to the poem. Overall, this is a well-crafted and emotional piece of poetry.

The central theme of the garden works well. It shows the character of your 'Angel' with all its associations with nurture and sensitivity. The photograph captures the mood of the poem.

This is a nice, loving tribute to your family! Albeit a bit simplistic, good use of garden metaphors for your family, in addition to the photo. Both your words and photo clearly show your love and affection for your family, as well as a father's pride. Good job!
