Your words brought back memories of my children, forlornly waiting for the school bus, in our wooded northern Michigan neighborhood on a cold winter morning. And yes, birds, and many other little animals, were hiding in their nests.

Good

I remember walking to school on a very frigid day and wanting so much to be inside where it was warm. The day I am speaking of it was at-16 degrees.
