Love this one. It reminds me of our cat Prince to the max. The only thing different is when we leave he gets on the bed and knows he gets two treats whenever we leave.

You have presented Simon as a well behaved, considerate cat and his appreciation for his home is cleverly worded in the description "purrfect family"
The only time he sulks is when he is left without them for a while. Obviously he is left with carers at that time.

This is a good entry in the Best Paw contest. The text is a great size. The message is clearly stated and easily understood. Your color palette is great. Love the light orange lettering on the chestnut brown background. There are some grammar errors in the poem. The "Don't" here should be Doesn't} Don't matter if my bowl..... The "whoever" in this spot should be whomever} couch with whoever
The rhyme scheme throughout the poem is good, but there are some places you repeat the same word for the end rhyme. These words are repeated...there (2X), me(3X). There is one place you have a period (full stop) in the middle of a line this breaks the rhythm of the poem. The spacing in the poem is off. There is great spacing at the top. Go to the end of the last line and hit enter twice and your poem box will have better spacing. The visual is cute and fits perfectly. Good luck in the contest.

That describes our tuxedo cat Alby to a T! He sulks when we're gone and punishes us with his evil eye when we return. He's got no reason to complain- but he dies anyway. Cuz that's what any self respecting cat would do!

Great poem. Good flow and symmetry. I enjoyed it. Just one small suggestion, your line, " I jump down of the chair." Of perhaps should be written as off. A great effort and best of luck.
