This is another excellent chapter. I was at the end before I knew it. Looks like trouble is brewing for Ali again. There is no need for corrections. I look forward to the next chapter.

Good work, again. Drama to seal it all off for this chapter. Sorry, no SIXES this time. Take it as a virtual SIX though, as always. I was waiting for that creep to come in.

    I sure will. Virtual sixes are just as good, to me. Thank you for the kind review.

Both Alan Griffin and Pat Rogers are not very nice, they deserve to be in a place that anti social people deserve to be. All of a sudden Alexandra is discussing what type of a wedding she would prefer and honeymoon she'd like and I think she might actually get one. Beautifully written Barbara, blessings Roy

I enjoyed this chapter, Barbara, especially the teasing banter among the women at lunch. I'm sure Ali liked it too despite all the blushing. You're building the suspense nicely surrounding Rogers. Personally, I prefer your longer chapters--more to enjoy!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After Bart, declared Alexandra almost healed -- no comma after Bart
Pink-tinged Alexandra's cheeks -- no dash after Pink
Oh yea, St. Patrick's -- should be yeah (Yea means yes too, but it's reserved primarily for formal votes.)
"Would you want big reception then?" -- a big reception
"Ladies, have nice rest of your lunch." -- a nice rest of your lunch
    I HATE those little words. I read right over it as if they're there. LOL For pink tinged, I didn't have the dash there, but grammar check told me I needed it, so I put it in at the last second. It's now gone. I really do appreciate the help. Thank you. I can promise the second part to this chapter will be longer. All of chapter 27 at once would have been really long, so I broke it up.
I'd almost forgotten about Rogers, but he's still around to stir up trouble. Will he arouse Ali's suspicions about Cord actually being the father of Amy's baby? Fun conversation with the girls about Ali and Cord's relationship and possible marriage. Ali has interesting about her wedding and honeymoon, wanting to keep things simple. I'm sure Cord will agree to that. Ali did a good job of handling Rogers, but it was still good to have the sheriff step in. Great chapter, and I'm sorry I have no sixes left for this excellent chapter. "Don't worry we won't listen to your conversation." I think you need some punctuation after worry. judi
    You're very welcome. It's interesting that Ali seems to do much better handling the other women's problems than she does with her own. She's getting there, though, now that she's free of Alan. judi
Poor Ali! She's constantly finding trouble wherever she is. Rogers is a creep, and I'm so glad Ali handled that without Cord! I was cheering for her, lol. I would guess his little visit to the ladies isn't going to set well in court, though. Great chapter! Best, JohnC
OMG! That was a great shocker scene. All of that typical girl talk about a wedding interrupted by Mr. Butt-brain calling them all whores. Fabulous, Barbara.
I have to keep up with your story, I know it's nearing its end. I liked the way this chapter went, a bit of girlie talk, and then down to it. That slimeball will be in for such a shock soon, I can't wait to read how you handle that. Well done, my friend. Excellent chapter. Sandra xx
Wonderful chapter except for the baboon interrupting the wedding planning. Your girl is way too nice. I would have shown him to the door. Good thing the Sheriff was handy. Sending you my best today as always.
    Thank you for the kind review. Ali is too nice. That's part of her flaws.
