Your epilogue is greatly written. Perhaps it was what I thought would happen. Recover from her cancer scare, return to teaching and marrying the fellow who never would abuse Katherine. She deserved to find happiness.

This was great and so long after the story, I had wondered if it was the right story. I forget how long since you finished this or up til now I mean. No spags and a great ending.

Sounds like a very happy ending. I'm glad that Gabriel gives his blessings to his wife's return to work. I wonder if there's some autobiographical bits added to the story since I know you also had breast cancer.
I think like your other stories, there's a strong family message and good support for each other here. Congratulations on your completion!

"What have I blessed off on?" (not sure what this means. Is this a Texan idiom?)

Angel asked Katherine if Gabriel blessed off on her going back to work and Gabriel walked in and asked what he blessed off on. Thank you for the catches. I always appreciate the help.

This is a wonderful wrap-up for your book. I forget the name of it, but I call it Friday Night in Texas. I know you say it is not about football but to me, it is a football fan. There is no room for improvement. A wonderful book Good Luck.

Nothing wrong with this story that I have read. I must admit that I have missed a lot. I gave your book to my daughter, who promised to share it with some nurses she works with. Who knows she might win you, some customers.

You gave me the gift I really wanted. I was not ready to let go of the people in this story. I was introduced to you through the story of this dynamic couple and the people in their lives. Thank you so much. This has been a gift that has continued to give.

This is a lovely epilogue. I love the picture of the cabin. It wouldn't be my cup of tea, though, too isolated. It is the perfect honeymoon spot for Gabriel and Katherine. The boys are already big fans of Gabriel and will accept him with no problems. I just hope everything is well with Katherine after her bout with cancer. You never know when it can return. I like that Gabriel is on board with Katherine going back to teaching and coaching track. My one thing is about the year and a half later. What happened during that time? Did you mean from the time they first met? judi

No, the time from when they were married. It would take Katherine that long to heal from all the cancer garbage. Thank you for the kind review.

You're very welcome. I think I was confused by their just returning from their honeymoon. Congratulations on finishing your book and much success with it. judi

My mind is evidently discombobulating a couple of books, but I thought that Katherine had come from an abusive relationship, a husband who saw her as a trophy wife. It's hard for me to imagine Katherine's in laws were capable of bearing other than a dysfunctional child.]

Rebecca smiled. "I think you took a trip to the major cities in Europe." [Since Rebecca and Harold had just come in from the outdoors, how did they even know what the bet was about?"]

They're personalities are so different. It might be hard." [Oops! THEIR personalities... An easy mistake.]

Yes, this chapter was really needed.

Bill told them they were discussing the bet, after they came in. LOL I have fixed that crazy error. Thank you for your support.

I am glad you wrote an epilogue; it's good to know that all is working out well after all they've been through. It's well-written and enjoyable to read.

"Jeremey" (but originally "Jeremy")?
"Gabriel's parents" (not "parent")

As I've said before, I'm a true sucker for happy endings and a complete sap for for loving and romantic endings. But don't tell anyone and spoil my old hard boot image. I wish I had a six. Thanks for sharing.

It'll be our secret. Thank you for the kind review. Actually, I was shocked while at my father-in-law's funeral how many MEN came up to me and said how much they liked my novels. Who knew???
reply by Ric Myworld on 17-Jan-2023
Yes, I think lots of men like romance novels more than they're willing to let on around other men. LOL.
