My mom will be 91 in February. I know I am lucky to still have here. We talk a minimum of once a week. Usually, a lot more often. She lives 14 hours away. Your contest entry is simple, yet powerful. It says all that needs to be said. Good luck with the contest.

A very nice remembrance of your mother. She is watching over you, and you will see her again without the cancer. I had a similar experience with my mother.

One that I can certainly relate to as I lost my father
five years ago and it is like yesterday. This is a short

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing. I'm more of a story-writer, but as I said, inspiration just struck. I'm sorry to hear about your father. Yes, the hurt remains for a while, but time does heal...the emptiness never entirely goes away, but it does become more and more manageable with time. Thank you again for your feedback. Take care. :D
