Well, this is narrative of a wolf speaking directly to the readers is interesting. The contest calls for something unique and I think this certainly qualifies. Story??? The wolf did get his point across.
Good luck in the contest.

Thank you. Thank you.

I think this wolf should apply to law school. He clearly can prepare a good argument for his case. I liked how he pulled his cartoon cousin in for sympathy so quickly after showed no remorse for the granny and red riding hood situation. Very moving in a comedic way. Gretchen

Thank you. It is meant to be humoress. But you are right, he would make a good lawyer.

This is so amusing telling the wolf's side of the story. He even pleads for understanding of his cousin, the coyote. This was a great idea for the Look Who's Talking Now! contest.

That's pretty clever and imaginative, and you did make your points - a neat twist on the story, but, I have to say, in real life, I don't like wolves. HOWEVER, I don't blame them for "doin' what comes natcherly."
This is a cute, creative story, and a good entry for the contest.
Good luck,
Katharine

This is a cute story. I have always thought that we gave the wolves a bad rap. They are beautiful animals and contrary to popular belief, they don't run around eating people. Anyway, yours is a delightful tale. When I was teaching I was shocked to learn that the students didn't know the traditional versions of the fairy tales so I read The Three Little Pigs and then I read The TRUE story of the 3 little pigs by A.Wolf which is really funny. Then I had the students read a fairy tale of their choice and tell it from the antagonist's point of view. They had great fun with it. Your story reminded me of that unit. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you. I think the wolves get a bad rap too. It seems they are always the villain. I like wolves, and I think they are one of the smartest species in the wild.
-
You are welcome. I agree, they are smart.

Wow! I really enjoyed your humorous contest entry. You have the wolf talking like an old friend trying to convince the reader of his side of the story. The wolf even gave a fair argument that his behavior is no worse than human behavior. Well done. Best wishes in the contest.

Thank you. It is just a silly story for the contest. I enjoy writing something like this.

Very well done and very funny. You actually had me feeling sorry for this long-time villain, as well as my namesake Wile E. Coyote. I never quite understood how he thought he could kill the roadrunner with his grand schemes, yet he never died when they backfired and kept coming back for more.
You made a very convincing case for sympathy for the wolf. Well done.

Thank you. It is fun to write silly stories like this one. I prefer them to serious stuff.
-
I absolutely do too. Even if I start out on something serious, humor usually takes over.

So, author, you have revealed yourself. :) You're a wolf in disguise hiding in FanStory. To me, you are the good guy with a bad rap sheet. If you like pork---go for it. Cow fill the sky with gas, so eat your fill, but keep your bite away from those tasty morsels pertaining to be like little Red. They are a danger to all. :) This is a good entry for the Looks Who's taking Now Contest. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you. Oh, no! You're onto me. Now I will have to be careful with the wolf stories. LOL

Okay, this is a great entry for the Look Who's Talking Now Contest. This is very nicely done.
One catch:
anyone else, and it hurts blowing few or none love me.
(Blowing should be knowing? )
I really liked the way you used the word nature as a pun. I wonder how many will catch that?
This is great work. I'm sure this is a top contender. Thanks for sharing!

This is a well constructed monologue from the villainous wolf's perspective. I like the way you entreat us to believe in his instinctive behaviours and compared to us humans surely wolfy needs some grace? An interesting and entertaining point of view.
