You did a great job of defending wolves, in a very engaging story - and of course, you are absolutely right! You made me think "Wow, I never thought about that, but it makes sense!" As per contest requirements! Best wishes. Loved it.

Thank you. Even a wolf should have the right to defend himself. Lol

This text is written from the perspective of a wolf who is expressing their frustration with the way they are portrayed as the villain in popular stories and media. The wolf argues that they are just trying to survive and that humans do the same thing by eating meat from cows, pigs, and other animals. The wolf also defends their actions, pointing out that in some of the stories, they are driven to violence because of being mistreated by humans. The author wants to convey the message that the wolf is not inherently evil, but just doing what is natural for them to survive. The text also implies that the wolf is discriminated against and that they have feelings just like humans.

OMG, that is too funny. The wolf is certainly misunderstood these days. Just because he was hungry! I'm still giggling, so I wish you best of luck in the contest. Evi

This is a great entry for the contest. You have presented the wolf's side of the story very well. The wolf appears a lot in Fairy Tales and is always the villain, but you have defended him.

Enjoyed your humor and I think you defended yourself well in terms of the hypocrisy of humans who are carnivores. (You must know that not all humans are.) Still, your narration voice has that growl of a vicious killer that doesn't want to make us change our view of you. Perhaps you had recalled some Native American wolf lore or cases where the wolf was the hero? I think this will do well in the contest!

Thank you. It is only a silly story for the contest. The wolf is always the bad guy, so I let him tell his story. Lol

Yeah, you have been given a bad rap, but it makes for a good story. You do a fine job of defending yourself by explaining your basic needs and instincts. It may convince some of the people, but I suspect not all. This was a fun read. I liked its conversational tone. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you for sharing this writing prompt entry with us. I enjoyed reading this entry. There are numerous books out there, for children who give the real story of Little Red Riding Hood, or The Three Little Pigs where the wolf is really a great guy. This is creative and present the wolf's case very well. Good luck.

This piece, although fictional, has some very valid points, as well as a touch of humor and humility on the part of Mr. Wolf. This was an enjoyable read, and I wish you much success with the contest. Best, JohnC

Hahahahahaha!!! I woke early this morning and this is my first reading of today...this fine, well-written funny story. It's not easy making me laugh before I've had my coffee. This little story was so truthful, I believe if a wolf could, it would have said precisely this.

Best wishes in the contest. I hope it's not too late to vote.
