This is so self-evident it's extraordinary. The end:
basically, I'm not a bad fellow. I'm only a wolf doing what wolves do to survive.
is pure magic. Loved every word of it. kay

Thank you. It was a fun story to write. Wolf should have the right to defend himself. LOl

Good luck in the contest; creative POV and good, clear writing. The details made your point, although a human could point out in response that we can be made the villains too, and we are higher on the food chain...just saying. What are wolves good for? I'd certainly argue they aren't underrated as dangerous, carnivores; but they are underrated for their contributions to balance in certain ecosystems and their species loyalty and ability to work together in packs...except for the lone wolf types. All this thought after 500 well-chosen words. Good job.

Thank you. It is only a silly story for the contest. I wouldn't want a wolf to eat my grandmother. Lol

Sometimes silly makes you smile and think at the same time. I call that well done. :)

Great job. But you`ll never eat hamburger as there is no grinder handy in the den of wolves. Great imagination and quite honestly, made me hungry for a few of the critters being described. Good luck.

That was very clever, and I'm glad I was able to come in and read it. It made me smile when he told us of the The Three Little Pigs, I'd never thought of it like that! And the rest of the story was spot on. You certainly found a unique one here, and I think it's a winner. I must check to see if the voting has started. Well done and good luck!! :)Sandra xx

Thank you. It was a fun story to write. Of course, I wouldn't be happy if a wolf ate my grandmother.

I really enjoyed this good choice, myself I was always a fan of wile ,hoping just once he would catch that road runner.l8ke tom and jerry at least he got to catch his pray occasionally even tho he didnt get to eat it ,but this is a story about hypocrisy. The thing I don't agree on is the human perspective on wolves. It's not thier carnivorous appetite they judge the wolf but the destruction the pack can cause to thier livestock in turn thier means of money and survival

You've convinced me! You make a great argument for wolves with a good sense of humor too. Well written with a good picture. Wish you good luck in the contest.

Thank you. I thought Wolf deserved the chance to defend himself. LOL
Comment from Tom Horonzy
I think the wolf would be more acceptive if his diet consisted of road kill rather than their attacking breathing souls. They are beautiful in motion, and their pack mentality quite smart. It takes a lot to challenge a bear or a 14 point buck. Good story. Humorous, too.

Wow wow wow I kept saying true all the way reading this, because for some reason there is some truth in this because why do we think we are better why do think we're not evil... Is it because we don't kill animals the same way animals kill animals to eat them, but however we're all killers and we should be seen as that. We are the same, wow

I never thought about it like that but that point of view certainly does
provide food for thought.
Cleverly written with clarity and focus.

Alright, Woplfie, you're right! We do love our meat. :)
Cute tale, aptly told. I love the bit about the grandma not feeding a poor, starving animal. It made me smile.
Best in the contest!
Blessings,
Deb
