What a great sense of humor you have. This wolf makes some good points. Each paragraph made me laugh. My favorite is the bit about cow and hamburgers.

Thank you. I had fun writing this story. I didn't want to offend anyone, just amuse you all. I guess I must have succeeded. Thank you for the six stars.

The wolf did a great job detailing his side of the story,
Prettybluebirds. Congratulations on your first place win.
I enjoyed reading this and knew it would be a great one
in the contest. The wolf gave readers great reasons for
his POV. He gave readers much to think about too.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

Thank you. I enjoyed writing this story. Wolf deserves a chance to defend himself. Lol

Yes, there are humans who love their bacon not to mention their BBQ ribs. Those lines made me laugh--how appropriate to be called out by a wolf. Though I suppose it's because humans don't want to share with anyone, especially a wolf. Well done. Congratulations on your first-place finish.

Thank you. It was a fun story to write. I thought wolf deserved a chance to defend himself. I wouldn't want him to eat my grandmother, though. Lol

I agree. Aside from eating the grandmother, wolves do get the short end of the stick, much like ravens and crows because of that poem! I loved reading this. Unique and very interesting take. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you. I don't think wolves make a habit of eating grandmothers. It was only a funny story for the contest.

I loved reading this story. It made me laugh and it is so true. We are such hypocrites. I see it is a competition winner, very well deserved. Congratulations and best wishes. Jen.

Thank you. It is only a silly story for the contest. It was fun to write. Even a wolf should be able to defend himself.

Congratulations on your worthy contest win. We humans have a habit of type casting everything, even individual humans. All animals have their individual traits and we form an opinion, rightly or wrongly and once the die is cast we believe that nothing changes for each of these creatures. A fine write to champion the wolf as he deserves to live and survive just like all other creatures on this planet and it has been said that the mindset of a wolf is very similar to the human way of thinking, love Dolly x

Hahahaha!!! Congratulations on your win. It is a wonderfully entertaining story, and well-written.
In all seriousness though, I would be remiss if I didn't recommend Jodi Picoult's novel about wolves -- I think you would enjoy it immensely.

This is a different take on a classic. I have one of my own which offers an urban take on the encounters between Red, Grandma and the wolf. I won't go into it here but it is coming. I very much enjoyed this, I found it entertaining. An interesting side note, my story also involved Wyle Coyote.

Thank you. That is strange we both chose the same characters to write about. I had fun writing this story.
