This is too sad. I worked on a unit in a psych/substance abuse hospital. I saw many incidences of this very behavior: "Then there are those, on their self-made road to destruction, trying to get syringes for their "grandma" who left her diabetic supplies at home. " A little angel with bells on, came your way, to light your darkness. "She's wearing a necklace with some small silver jingle bells on it." A poignant story.

This is a nice uplifting story. I think you character participating in the Christmas, the little girl with Downs and the small lady will go over well with the FanStory readers. That is brought up your mood makes for a happy ending too.

That was a well written story. You described the customers who come to your pharmacy with wit and depth. I can imagine, there are all kinds of folks who can stop a pharmacy, many with a desire to get their "supplies", and make it sound innocent.

This started out so sad, dark, and dreary. Then you hit a sweet and cute homerun with the ending. This was like the Twister roller coaster at Marriotts. Highs and lows and all smiles when you get off the ride.
