Very cute Christmas poem. What would Christmas be without our beloved Santa? And, yes, the original Santa is based on a real Saint, so for sure he was doing God's work. Otherwise he wouldn't be called "Saint" Nick. I really enjoyed it. The ryhming scheme was beautifully orchestrated. The only critique I have is that there's a typo in the second stanza, "I so believe rhat" instead of "that." Merry Christmas.

Very well crafted!! Perfect for a Christmas day read. I genuinely felt that it was clear, concise and that it flowed well, making it a fun read. I didn't feel like any part of it was "forced" just to make it rhyme and you didn't clutter it up with special words etc trying to "show off your writing chops" In other words, it is clear that it was written from your heart and is legit.
I seriously think you should consider sending it to Hallmark or another holiday card company and see if they wanted to make greeting cards with it. If not, it would be perfect to use in your own that you send to relatives etc.

This is very nice and filled with the both the religious aspect of Christmas and the traditional. I think it will appeal to all. Question: Is Santa an elf? I didn't think so. I know he has elf workers, right?

Hi Lancelot, The editor here was giving me so much trouble I missed the misspelling. Thank you so much for letting me know! 'The Night Before Christmas" refers to Santa "as a right jolly ole elf", so he is referred to as an elf. I'm glad you enjoyed the poem. Thanks for the great review! :o) Helvi
