Great buildup of suspense. Also amusing that no one trusts Ali on crutches. Alan's attack on Ali was very violent so I can see why she is worried about him attacking again. Hopefully, he has not gotten together with Pat for a two-pronged attack.

Alan is a loose cannon. I can see why Ali would be worred even if Cord was nearby. I think she's suffering from PTSD. Here's something I ran across, though someone's probably already mentioned it:

Alan is a loose cannon. I can see why Ali would be worred even if Cord was nearby. I think she's suffering from PTSD. Here's something I ran across, though someone's probably already mentioned it:

Good clean chapter. A lot was accomplished, with the doctor, sheriff and the face time fall with her parents.
I'm going to try to go back a few chapters to read and get a little more background info.

So Alan's arrested, but it doesn't take long for him to make bail. I think the bail should have been higher, something for Alan to think about. Excellent details about what he's being charged with and Ali's visit to the doctor. Who know what might have happened to Ali if the dogs hadn't been there to protect her! Now Ali has a feeling that something else bad is going to happen. Those feelings can usually be trusted. I'm glad Ali has been able to explain to her parents what happened with Alan. Great chapter. judi

God has truly guided, although I have been "near" true, about my own future, but not exact in my own, like Sarah when she "helped" God, and we got Ishmael, and then we got Mohammed.
