Reese,

How clever. We are indeed a diverse group of strangers who somehow think we know each other through a few (or hordes of) posts, both stellar and trite. We do write for ourselves, and if FanStorians don't "get it" en masse, so be it. We feed our beasts by typing out letters, hoping that they combine to form words that have SOME kind of meaning. Kudos.

Thanks. You make me believe my observation is pretty close to the truth. Glad you like it. I had not considered writing this, but I read over the prompt about four hours before closing and the idea hit me. Two glasses Chardonnay and three hours later, shazzaam!

The fruit of the vine can be a very effective verbal lubricant. :-)

A nice seasonal greeting. The flow is good. The rhymes are unforced. The narrative stays on point. The language is warm.

Thanks for sharing. Happy holidays.

Thanks, but did I make you smile? That is always my first goal. Merry Christmas to you and yours. May your New Year be wordy!

Not a big grin, but a small warm smile. Good feeling. And you are welcome.

You did a great job with your contest entry, Reese.
I enjoyed the colored fonts, the rhymes, the great
picture, and the heart-felt message. Your words flowed
smoothly with great imagery.
Thanks for sharing and best wishes in the contest, Jan
