Is this a fiction story? It seemed very real to me! I was so impressed with May's relationship with her son. Her love for him shows through her words and actions. You did a fine job with the writing. Sarah

Thank you.
Yes, it's fiction, but
I wanna trust that there are mothers out there doing their dead level best to help their children as May did in this story.

I enjoyed reading your article. It is filled with emotion and meaning. The love between a mother and her son is expressed without words. I loved it. Thank you for sharing.

And thank you immensely for the six stars.

Oh Wayne, wayne. I saw the title, but I didn't think you would be able to write this. Hardly anyone can you know. I can't wait 'til Sunday to review as it deserves, as I have no system that would keep it firmly in my radar that long, but I am sorry so sorry for that. This is so real, so raw and shows a true appreciation of how to approach a gifted but challenged child. I am so glad it worked out and hope Ohmie managed to stay out of the clutches of institutions once he got a bit older. It needs to be published. We can talk by PM about possible destinations if you want. Kate xx

Thank you! What a great review!
And sure. I have absolutely no idea how to go about publishing an article.

Wow. I wish I had a six left for this one. It is powerfully written as it plays an improvisation between the piano's music and the words of the mother. The intersection of those two sounds reveals the interior thoughts of the autistic boy. Superb writing and creatively crafted. Very well done.

Enters into Ohmie's world and that of parents with autistic children. The mother's patience and ability to understand her son is very well evoked. The reader empathises with May and her dreams for her son. A moving piece.
