I didn't think it was too violent. What happened, happened. It's part of what made you who you are. It's funny how eloquent your writing is but it seems everyone who encountered the 12 year old Brett, kind of wrote him off. Well written. Gretchen

I can hardly wait for you to be free of that horrible place. I hope there is way for you to find some satisfaction of making these monsters pay for treating children in this way. You did a great job of telling us what happened. I'm glad you didn't give him the satisfaction of seeing you cry although he might have eased up a bit if you had.

There is a distinct difference between punishment and abuse, I am still, a believer of corporal punishment, but yet can understand the modern propensity to withdraw its legality from educational facilities because, even in my day, there were true sadists around. I remember my mother hitting my bare legs with a stick, she got madder as I didn't utter a sound, Beautifully written Brett, blessings Roy

Congratulations on the 1000 milestone post! This is a well written post to receive that honor. Yes, it was hard to read, but I'm sure it was accurate at the time. I don't see how any human adult could enjoy doing that. He's a truely evil person.
