Uh, ooh, I smell trouble coming. Of course, I'd always feel that way about anyone taking up with the sheriff. But I guess in Miranda's place it could be a plus. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

He might be the answer to her prayers. I think the sheriff might be in more danger because of her. Lol. Thanks for this fun review. Gretchen

This is a sweet chapter and I'm glad that someone nice like Mitch is interested in Miranda. This also explains why Aaron found him to be a rival. Now with a colorful character like Randa, you also added the love triangle plot to the murder mystery. Quite complex stuff!

who's intouch with his feminine side?" (in touch) loved this little jab!

Thanks for catching the spag. I was determined not to put romance in this story but headstrong characters can't be contained. Great review. Thank you so much. Gretchen

I'm not sure about this saga--you have me thinking like a crazy man about who done it!! I will say I think Missy is too obvious the character, and if I know your style well enough, she is not the one. I'm back to the thinking board, or maybe I'll give myself a break and stop thinking. Great stuff, Gretchen! Best, JohnC

Sometimes the obvious choice is the one. The fun is how to catch them. Lol. Thank you for this awesome review. Gretchen

Dear Miranda, her thinking returns to that comfortable place of normality, or to the initiated, the mundane. As she ponders the "flirtatious" sherrif, and the aura of Matt, worrying adopt what Rita's doing, and animal blood on the scissors, but I can relate to the place. Beautifully written Gretchen, blessings Roy

Could it be that Miranda is a little sweet on the Sheriff? At least as long as he's sweet on her, he's not out to convict her. The only new information today was that the blood on the scissors didn't belong to Ed, and he's giving her the information in confidence. Something's got to crack soon!
Good work, Gretchen.

I think she does have a secret crush on him. Lol. I promise there will be fireworks in the next couple of chapters. She's had enough self reflection for a while. Thank you so much for this awesome review. Gretchen

This is a fun post. I smiled and I read, especially at the last sentence. What color aura is Matt and I'm happy that Miranda is looking at Mitch differently. I think they'd be good together.

I have a friend who talks about colors of auras. Fascinating but I hardly understand what she'd saying. Lol. Thanks so much for this wonderful review. Gretchen

This was another great chapter. Always a good read, you are. Please keep it coming. Be interesting if Miranda and Mitch get together or even young Aaron?? Who knows?

This would be a good movie, Gretchen. I love Marinda. Rita was correct when she said, "You are a very grounded person, Miranda. People go to you because you can be counted on."
That is why Missy is jealous of her. I think Miranda is correct with her suspicion of Missy. Yes and the Sheriff probably does have a crush on her. That is a good thing. He will be a big help! Well done! Nancy:)

I am wary about letting my guard down and relaxing a bit...even If Miranda, who I like and whose judgment I trust, seems to be doing so.

I am glad the scissors she found weren't the murder weapon, and I'm intrigued about the idea of the sheriff's being sweet on her. And the finger-pointing to Missy: real or a red herring? Guess I'll have to stay tuned!!

this is very good, even coming in a little late in the game. I would suggest you get rid of the phrase "I think to myself." She can't think to anyone but herself, and so there's nothing needed after "think."

This review was intended to be helpful. If it isn't, ignore it.

Lol. I say I think to myself all the time. Never thought how silly that must sound. Thank you for enlightening me. Thanks so much for the wonderful review and comments. Gretchen
