This is a short narrative chapter. That is something you may want to look out for. Some narration is okay but total, is not, as it just tells a story on a surface level.
This does give good insight into your character and disposition, metal fortitude, and being the source of many of his own issues.

Thank you for the good review, Wayne. It takes E.J. a long time to get that "good slappin'," but if you stay with it, you'll see that he eventually does.
