This is a good 5-7-5 poem. The text is a great size. The message is clearly stated. Indeed, it is difficult to count blessings in hard times. However, if accomplished that is the sign of having true faith. Faith that better days are ahead. The visual fits well.

Happy Thanksgiving! Good to hear from you again. Gathered everything together the last few days, got the turkey brining and the wife made two pumpkin pies from the pumpkins we grew this summer.
Just us and her parents, but I like small gatherings.
Hard times for our country and a lot of people are just having chicken for Thanksgiving because turkeys are so expensive.
