Yes, indeed, dreams can be prophetic, if Joseph and Daniel are anything to go by, and I believe they are. There is a preacher here who claims to be a dream reader, but probably a little far from you. Well done Wendy, this is a wonderful post, blessings Roy

Thanks Roy. Great review. So far to this point, she has painful arthritis, nothing more, so I hope it?s not prophetic!

Oh Tom, you must be so disappointed. Release it anyway and at least get some reviews. I thought there was one missing from the voting booth.

I have re-released it. Have not a clue why it was and then wasn't there. I mean, I think I saw it listed once upon a hourglass.

Wendy, congratulations on winning the contest. I can see why.
This is a good poem, and I hope your friend is doing some better. The text is a great size. The message of fear and concern for the physical pain your friend is experiencing is clearly presented.
Dreams are strange but bear often kernels of truth. The visual fits well.

This friend of yours is obviously very much on your mind as you dream of her and hope to be able to help her in her hour of need. We have modern medicine to prevent the pain and it can prolong death unfortunately, a poignant write, love Dollyx

Thank you very much Dolly. Fortunately it was only a dream, and in fact she only has bad arthritis. But in my dream she was dying. Dreams can certainly twist reality.

Your poem prompted me to write my latest post called Nachtmerrie (Nightmares), so I thank you for that x x x

Yes, dreams can twist the reality and obviously you were so worried for her and that colored your dreams. I hope she will be cheered by your flowers and that you both can rest in the gift of the days she has and the beautiful future to come with Him.

I have stopped writing for more than four years and I am still trying to feel my way back here at this site. So, I am in awe to the writers who can pen poetry and create a scene in poetic lines that rhyme, like the author did. I enjoyed reading your poem. Keep sharing.

Hello Author,
It's hard when you can't see a friend that you know is dealing with hardships. Dreams, fortunately, can be quite misleading, though they can hold a grain of truth to them!
I do hope she's okay.
Susan :)

Wendy,
Your beautiful poem is very touching. Death is as natural as life for us, yet it is so sad to experience the death of a friend or loved one.
Your rhyme flows, and your words are a nice ode to this dear friend.
Good luck with this one!
Blessings,
Cindy

Very philosophical. It is true that death can be a relieving gift.

When people ask how old do you want to live to be, I always answer "Until I am no longer healthy."

Anyways, great poem with wonderfully well-placed and seemingly unforced rhymes.

I enjoyed this!

Thank you. Great review. When they ask me, I say I want to go before everyone wishes I would go! Lol.
