This story made me giggle. It's so true that my kids are an echo of myself sometimes. Sometimes. Sometimes not. A cute story that fits with the theme "What happened?" It's got two things happening - an awakening by the father, and an awakening by the son.

Hmm, well, you have a story that fits the requirements. The thing is, it seems to be missing most of the meat of a story. The reader was given an introduction and an ending, but no middle. We have no idea what happened. The conflict was just... resolved, off screen as they say.
