I like your Halloween poem- excellent picture presentation- have a soft spot for kids- reflected in many of my poems- we actually did bob for apples back in my youth 1940 -50's lol - cranked handle on the I cream maker- bucket of ice with a cylinder inside that would spin when cranked- the best ice cream ever!!! Kid party's quite different for my kids! Lol good poem! Take care -AP

Well, I did the same thing. :) We made custard and froze it and hand cranked it, and you're right the best ice cream ever, (even better than Blue Bell). And we bobbed for apples at Halloween parties. I always ended up looking like a drowned rat. Fun days.

I think it was dry ice. couldn't touch it.
