I like how this poem shares regret for not speaking up. It does so in such a unique way. I thought the word choices were excellent. But I especially liked the inward reflection on what could have been. Terrific writing!

Hi Niyuta,
This has happened to many people. It is sad to harp on a mistake made from fear or shyness. It is good to move on with life and leave that error behind you and learn from it.
It should be it's supposed to.
Keep writing and stay healthy.

    I appreciate your encouraging comments. Looking back on the life's failures and missed steps, it seems happen at some point in life even though we are made aware of its negativity. It happened to me and words came to mind. Thanking you for your thoughtful comments and ratings. This is my 40th poem posted on my portfolio in a book titled,"Random Reflections".
