Hahahaha! Oh my, I enjoyed this immensely, and the writing is flawless. Of course, the minute I finished reading I had to scroll up to see if this was classified as fiction or non...

Every time I think, well, Rochelle, you have truly outdone yourself, then I read a new posting of Fly On the Wall and say, well, Rochelle this time you have truly outdone yourself!

I thought I had hit the piece de resistance with this line...""Pardon?" I remember saying, incredulous.", but oh no, no. It was not to be. The story only became even funnier with the Mrs. New York and the chicken! HA!

Oh, you are quite a wonderful Wordsmith, casting quite a spell with mere mortal words and sentences and such. The way you phrase things and set up comedy. I will never get enough of your writing. Never!

See why I adore you? Thank you for the positive reinforcement of the quality only an exemplary teacher can bestow. So. Very. Appreciated.

Rachelle (note spelling...but please don't feel embarrassed. It's twenty-three years later, and my in-laws still think it's spelled with an 'o', too. xoxoxo)

Oh my friend, that was simply a slip of the quickly typing fingers. I am so sorry. Being a teacher, names are of the utmost importance to me. I crave to always get those right. Humbly, I lay apologies at your feet. : )

You are so hysterical! Please tell me you're the life of every party...

Each of your chapters is witty, with a perfect sense of timing.

It's of special note you are unafraid to share life's little fumbles of your own, poor you!

Thank goodness you had on matching leopard bra and panties! You go girl!

I literally laugh out loud at your tales. "Mrs. New York" -- heaven help us!

My favorite line was...all of them!

More please!

Karenina

I am totally NOT the life of the party. I am the quiet one in the corner who does not move or mingle and who leaves as early as is polite to do so. I am one hundred percent serious. (But I'm in good company. I remember Johnny Carson saying that was his m.o., too.

Thank you for your always-so-supportive-and-encouraging reviews that make me feel as if I have delivered in the way I hoped.

Ah, so you tuck your incredible wit into your words and gift it to all of us! (I can't see you as the shy quiet one ~ but then again, I am the very same way...just not nearly as brilliant a writer as you are!

I'm quite ebullient one-on-one and at all my piano lessons and recitals, but at parties, I am a complete and total dud.

And since when aren't you a brilliant writer, Woman? I LOVE your style!! I'd read anything you wrote. xo

You write the most amusing stories, and the detail of each occurrence adds perfectly to the humor like a cake decorated in profession frosting. You are so right, there is no gift better than a sense of humor.

I loved your story or rather your chapter. If the rest of your chapters are anything like this one then I want to read them all. You have the gift. Wonderful job. It reads well and carries the reader through without a hitch.

Rach, this is a good entry to your book. This story is funny as heck. You use vivid wonderful descriptive language to compare typically mundane objects. This weird symbol is sprinkled throughout your story} dress ¢?"/ -¢?"the snooty one¢?"/scream¢?"/To this day -¢?"and she's forty now¢?"/ from mine -¢?"the snooty one¢?
Please check and remove them. Change this to near my knees} hear my knees.I think this word is misspelled}decathalete
At this line, I was howling with laughter. Just great comedy and wit.} (Question: was it better or worse that my bra and panties were leopard, as well?)
The font size also could be a bit larger for my old eyes. Once you make your corrections, let me know and I will up your score. Despite some errors it was funny to read.

This aggravates me to no end because I took great pains last night to alleviate ALL these stupid technical issues that I saw! I get SO frustrated with this site that way, I swear!! And I ALWAYS make the font 18 specifically for you, so that makes me aggravated, too, that the system even threw THAT out. GRRRRR! But THANK YOU for point it out; otherwise, I would have no way of knowing it had reverted to the way it originally looked when I copied-and-pasted. I appreciate that you always have my back, sweet friend. xoxox

Part II - You know what I'm thinking? You were my first reviewer, so I'm wondering if you read it while I was still working on it. (Is that even possible?)

At any rate, could I impose on you to just surface-check it again and see if it looks different from the way it did when you first read it? Again, thanks for always having my back on here. It means the world. xoxoxo

As far as my old eyes can see everything has been corrected except the spelling of this word decathalete. It should be decathlete. I changed my rating to a five. I will always have your back. I consider you a new friend and a good-hearted person.
