This is a good entry to the tree-hugger 5-7-5 contest. The text is a nice size. The message is clear. I love learning new things, so I enjoyed your fact on the Cook pine. I never heard of it until your poem. The visual fits perfectly. I don't know if I would be comfortable with a tree like this near my home. lol Good luck in the contest.

We all know how important trees are and that we are exploiting them etc
I wanted to find something fresh to offer about them .
When I came upon this fact I thought it was something interesting others would enjoy.

I tried to offer a different approach ... we all know how important trees are and they need to be protected for our own well being etc.
This quirky tree was just the think I was looking for. I learnt something new today too (wink).
