Love the play on haven/heaven...and more than that we may be twins separated at birth! A quiet moment, a slight breeze, and a streaming hot cup of coffee! Yahoo! It doesn't get much better than that!

    It was a good day and place. I have had another move since that day. My final perhaps, but who knows. I'm enjoying more creature comforts. I know the end of the saga and making the most of those days in quiet peace of heart and mind. Blessings. Barbara

Hi Barbara, how wonderful to see you in print, and I am so happy that you are getting nicely settled in your new location. I love my coffee too. It's my companion. I think that's because coffee links me to my mother. She and I use to drink coffee together. We had coffee every night after dinner around 8 p.m. Glad to hear that you are enjoying your patio and life. It's good to get some fresh air and sun every day. Xo. Margaret

Hey, great little commentary!
Last summer, we took out a 12' wide by 30' long area of patchy grass and laid down 237 12" X 12" brick face pavers. I buried all the wiring in conduit. Strung solar and electric lights.
We sit there many late afternoons, catch a breeze, and share our day's happenings.
Yeah, it's therapy!

This is a well-stated poem. The message is clear and easy to understand. The text could be larger. A visual of a steaming cup of coffee would enhance your poem. Thank you for sharing.

I could close my eyes and imagine myself in a similar position, and also be blissfully at peace. Solace is my favourite hot drink and a gentle cooling waft that also happens to fill my nostrils with earthy caffeine :-)
