Sad, but true. The old bones are hurting as temps are dropping. 39 degrees this morning. Summer is over and I yearn for spring. I enjoyed your piece for the club challenge. I think I'll give it a shot my self.

    Thank you Jane, we have to hunker down until we cast eyes on the crocus and daisies indicating warm sun returns in spring.

Lovely poem to showcase the change in seasons.

Sparkling in your poem: Fall does not have spring in its step, so old bones imagery works well.

My favourite line:
- I ripen like leaves tones, Fall hath arrived...old bones, showing cycles of life, change and its effects.

A lovely outdoorsy poem.
