This is a well written poem about what a lot of us wish, that we can meet each other some how. I have thought of maybe a fanstory conference, like comic con or something like that. Or maybe a cruise. I like the images of what would happen when you visited.

Thanks for taking the time to read and review this poem. It would be great fun to meet some of the folks on Fan Story. The talent on this site is phenomenal. The problem with having so many together at once is that it would give us less one on one time I think, but it would be fun nonetheless.

The couch has become a cat's palace but we'd find you room. And then we can take a walk and we'll have you meet all the dogs in four neighborhoods and a few miles further, we'd introduce you to Olin's dog. It would be fun! Of course, you wife must come, too!

It sounds delightful. I'd love to visit with you and your family and of course all the neighborhood dogs. I would most certainly bring Jan with me, I'd love for her to meet all of my Fan Story friends. It may only be a dream or strong desire, but who knows, perhaps one day I'll write and ask if it's a good time for coffee or tea. Meanwhile, I relish the friendships I've made here and all the hospitality offered. What a wonderful group of people that I'm associated with.

Well, it's more possible with us as you're closer than some. If you are ever this way, let us know. We are planning on moving further south to be closer to our older daughter and the grand kids. So if you visit by next spring...

We are so limited in what we can know about each other, but of this I'm sure, I'd like each and every one I came in contact with. We're scattered across the country and around the world, what an adventure that would be.

That sounds like a lot of fun on the one hand, though I don't know that I've got what it takes to do it. I spent three months away from home on a fishing boat, and was delighted to return to a permanent residence. I would love to hear of your many adventures, I'm sure you've seen a lot.

thanks so much for the fine review and comments. I feel the same. While we may not all agree on everything, we all share a love of writing. The thought of visiting you first sparked the idea. When I went to bed last night, I starting thinking of writing something and the words kind of came together. As you know, I don't know poetry, so I probably messed up something along the way, but overall I was happy with it. I would love to visit. Who knows, maybe someday I'll ask if I can come by. I'm sure that many of us would love to get together and just share some time with each other. If money were no object and health or time weren't a consideration, I'm sure it would happen. thanks so much for the great review and comments. Were I able to make the trek, I'm sure it would be worth every penny spent. While we may get to know each other through our writing, there is so much more to each of us. To spend a few hours with our FS friends would, I think, be a wonderful thing.
