There are plenty of nice people on this site, but not that many I'd like to sit down and have an extended conversation with. But, I must say, you certainly seem like someone who could hold my attention for hours and maybe even days. Especially, in your boat in Alaska, or even sitting with a peanut butter and jelly on a river bank. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much for the kind review and comments. If you like fishing, and the great outdoors, I'm sure we'd have a grand time. Long before I became a commercial fisherman, I spent my time fishing from a bank, first in Ohio, then Key West and Charleston SC. When I found out that people would pay me to fish, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. When fishermen part we don't usually say good bye or good luck, but good fishing, and so I'll wish you good fishing.

Thanks so much for the wonderful review Gretchen. It would be so much fun to get together with the various folks on this site. You're right, we might discover that the only thing we have in common is writing, but how would we ever find out if we didn't get a chance to visit? I don't play the lottery, but if for some reason I ever do, and happen to win, I'll foot the bill for all of us to meet somewhere and have a week of fun and relaxation and getting to know each other.

Such healing thoughts. A truly nice poem. True, we don't know when we will be called to the great beyond to start a new chapter of our life. The poem clearly catches one of the pleasant happenings of our earthly existence, that is pleasant visits with friends. Lovely picture of the tea set. As quality a scene like Royal Albert china.

It would be heavenly to visit with you. I've never had cucumber sandwiches, though I'm awfully fond of marmalade. I'm afraid I'm an ignorant buffoon, as I'm not familiar with Prosecco either. Just enjoying your company would be a delight, though you might find me a bit rough around the edges. Thanks so much for the great review and comments.
