A Witch's Bath

Wickedly nonsensical!

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

This poem fits the category of the contest perfectly. There is a bigger emphasis on nonsense words and a keen sense of alliteration, rhyme, rhythm, and an infusion of words that create a great conglomeration of onomatopoeia like "dribble" and "splitter" and "splatter." It did not actually have any definitely identifiable references to a bath. But my favorite line, that came the the closest to what the witch might be thinking, was "oily boily bother." It seems to suggest that she does not like taking a bath on a regular basis.

This poem, A Witch's Bath, is a fun splash of alliterative and assonance and consonance rhyming words which bring the enjoyment of the soak into the piece. Neat.
