As I began to read the first few lines I felt if i was listening to a boy recite the Boy Scout Creed. Is the BSA still organized or did the woke agenda and its formidable history? Good luck and thanks for your entry.

Good luck to you in the contest. Nothing could be more important than having a kind and caring heart. In your first stanza, you might want to leave out the line" someone who claims to be a writer" as you've mentioned that in the following stanzas. I believe "I am humble to everyone I meet" belongs in your first line, as you are talking about your personal attributes. If you want to mention dogs, you might follow up with your reason for liking them. judi
