Thank you so much for your review. I know they aren't starved for love, but the prompt stated as long as love was involved. I may be off-center. We will see.

What a nice verse- good picture presentation- very insightful subject - the human condition- made me chuckle because it is so true- in this case -the dew no longer on the rose-they have not lost the connection between their inner children and it is their way of expressing their continuing love- their dance- very insightful- good job

My husband and I slept cuddled together until the time of his death. Sex was a thing long past, but the physical human touch was always a comfort for us. Your poem is nicely executed. Good luck in the contest.

Hmm, not sure if either is starving for love here, but then in this contest you have the option of to make the theme to your desire. What you have does present love, and I think by making the couple senior citizens, you'll get more of FanStory members (also seniors) to welcome your piece. (Smart move).
