The Etheree and Nonet are two of my favorite forms, Sharon. You've poignantly addressed how quickly perceptions change, once we see the fragility of life.
Since we are not promised beyond this day, every dawn ought to be embraced joyfully, and with thanks!
Perfect count, great image, and I love the center alignment here!

I think we do take life for granted until something happens to make us appreciate every waking moment. Death is just around the corner for us all and we never know when it will call, so we should like every minute as if it is our last, a fine nonet, love Dolly x

Your words fill the reader with joy, as you and they may see life differently, especially after Covid---or any other illness. The photo is refreshing.
Your rhyme is true to form and flows nicely.
Good luck!
Blessings,
Cindy

Greetings...
Excellent work... Outstanding nonet!
I've been waiting to see something on the pandemic and our response to it. What a great nonet theme. I especially liked how you shifted the perspective to one of awareness, appreciation and savoring of life, and a heart filled with joy and gratitude for a new start.
Congratulations on your recent contest successes. I hope to have half as many ribbons in my portfolio someday. Thanks for writing this and sharing your nonet with us.
Blessings...

I really enjoyed this nonet poem. I like the "attitude shift," but I am sorry it came at such a high price. Thank you for sharing this here, and best wishes to you.

Losing someone close to you brings all of life into perspective. We learn to appreciate every minute and every second of a precious life. Live it if you got it.
Perfect nonet. All syllable counts are spot on, and the rhyming is great as well. Very nice job.
