Clever you!

Covid kept us from "swarming" for so long, I wonder if we have any "light of the party" in our midst anymore!

I'm praying things subside, so we can find our "groove" again this season!

A great haiku, Gypsy. The picture was priceless, it showed the beauty of nature. Your words were an accumulation of the beauty. They showed the beauty of nature. Blessed Be n Hugs!

GBR,

An amusing conclusion to your nicely written 'modern' (sic) Haiku. Do like your color scheme.

But could this poem be considered more in the traditional Haiku format since fireflies IMHO does imply a seasonal element?

Thank you for sharing this club entry with us. I wouldn't mind a swarm of fireflies, but right now, in this part of Texas we are having swarms of mosquitoes. Not a good thing. I enjoyed reading and the artwork you chose is beautiful.

Oh, no, swarms of mosquitoes sounds terrible. You must use lots of insect repellent spray.

Thank you very much for the review. I appreciate your kind words.

Another fine poem, Gypsy----and a cool picture----I don't think I've ever seen a firefly; Firefly was a sci-fi show back in the early 2000's--loved that show

I love the firefly series. It's too bad they only had one season.

I like your modern haiku - Excellent picture presentation!! Good word count and connection between line. Clever idea for a poem - poems paints a clear picture of the topic - flows is good - poems comes together well - fireflies are always a welcome addition to a night scene - good job

Lol. That's funny. Yes, those fireflies are always the "light of the party." I wonder what other creatures are swarming during that part of the night. Fun summer haiku poem!

Gypsy, This is a very beautiful and very well written 2-8-5 Modern Haiku. You used very good descriptive words and very lovely imagery from the art work you chose. Thanks for sharing. love and blessings, Teri
