This is a well-told sequential ordered story. The choices you made to keep made sense to me. The text is clearly stated. The font size is okay but could be a tad larger for me. The visual fits well. It looks like fire. Thanks for sharing. Good luck in the contest.

Isn't it funny? Of course we don't have many guns in Australia, in fact I don't know anyone who has one, only a hunter friend, who culls goats in a far northern region, we don have jewels, we'd grab the dog though, beautifully written, good luck, blessings Roy

I like this short entry in the contest. The clipped writing style conveys a sense of urgency. I like that there was no contemplation and that decisions were made quickly, without hesitation. I also liked the fact that you didn't count them, or treat the contest like a puzzle.
