Excellent entry for the From Beginning to End writing prompt contest.

Wow. What a Rollercoaster ride, no pun intended. It's too bad things didn't work out. It sounds like a great business.

Good luck in the contest.

This was a beautiful success story in the beginning. As I read, my smile was slowly melting. A company is only as good as its employees. It's harder than ever to find committed workers. Great story with sad ending. Best wishes in the contest.

That was terrible! But I can understand why you lost that contract. How awful that driver was to do that to you. When you take on a job, you know what you are in for, so they couldn't really complain. This was an excellent contest entry, and really did have a beginning, middle and end. Well done, and good luck in the contest. :)) Sandra xx

The best time of our lives (my wife and I) was when we had our own consulting company. Nothing is quite as good as working for yourself.

P2, s3: (six passenger) should be (six-passenger) Hyphen
P3, s1: Remove the comma after (passenger) Commas are primarily used to pause between two complete clauses. There is only one clause here.
P3, s4: (down time) should be (downtime) one word

Owning your own business is the best, but you just highlighted one of the biggest threats, letting other people in on it. You were growing so fast and so big; you had no choice. But those you hire will never have the love for or the ethic for running the business as you do.

Unfortunate lesson. Good story though.

and now you bask in the sun on a Caribbean island, lapping in the luxury you created. Hmm, does the CEO left at the airport stopped by and exchange toasts? Well done.

That's very sad, when you had shown initiative, and gone to a lot of trouble to build your company. A pity you got some unreliable drivers. An interesting and well-written story. Best wishes for your entry.

What an interesting story.

I knew nothing about starting and running a limousine company until reading this.

Although this is a very short story, you have packed it with information and emotion.

I am sorry for the financial loss but I hope something better came along.

Thanks for sharing.

I can't say I enjoyed this, because I am sad that you closed your business. Rapid expansion is difficult under any circumstances, but disloyal and/or uncommitted and/or unqualified employees can deliver killing blows. I hope you found another, profitable venture.

My clients needed larger vehicles to transport clients and employees to dinners and entertainment, these were hourly trips, some requiring an overnight stay.-- run on sentence; end after entertainment
