I always enjoy Sunny stories, and now, a poem about Sunny. He sounds like a delight to have as a furry companion, and he looks adorable in the picture, as though he knows you're going to put it on the internet. I enjoyed this tribute to the dog rated "The Best." Best wishes in the contest.

Hello Wendy,
What a fine tribute to your dog Sunny. He sounds absolutely delightful. I love dogs. There is no other animal on earth that I know of that is as faithful through thick and thin. I miss my dog terribly, but I'll never have another. The pain of losing him is something I don't want to experience again. However, if I were around Sunny, I'd love on him as if he were my own. Well done gal.

Thank you Tom. I was the same after my previous dog - I couldn?t even go for a walk because there were too many memories. Sunny has replaced the pain with his joy and love. I figured I had time for one more dog, but I want him to pass before me, because he wouldn?t cope otherwise. Maybe we?ll go together. He?s nearly eight now. Are there any dogs near you who would appreciate a walk each day? Thank you for a wonderful, encouraging and caring review.

Unfortunately I don't have a dog in my immediate neighborhood, but my daughter has a dog that I walk when she comes over or we go to visit. Enjoy your time with Sunny. They are such a blessing.

Enjoy your poem about your pet. Like the image of a border collie. We have had several in our own family. Border collies love to roam in the sheep's yard and round them up.

Thanks so much Rosemary, a super review. This is a google image, as I can?t access my photos at the moment. But Sunny looks very much like this one, but smaller. We think he is a miniature border collie crossed with dachshund. He brings me a lot of joy.

Dogs are truly a person's best friend. They are so good and loyal.
I have a cat, ellie, she is kind and very patient with my grandson. I give her treats after the dishes are done so as soon as dinner is over, she Meows and Meows until I feed her. If dinner is running late, she will sit in front of me and stare. Hahaha the evil eye. She is funny.
Good form and presentation. I like the imagery.

Thanks Bill! Yes, I think he is a miniature border collie, crossed with dachshund. I can?t access my photos of him as they are on my not quite dead computer at present, awaiting my son?s help, but Sunny looks a lot like this picture I googled (on my very tiny iPad).

Paul is absolutely right to spoil you, and have special rules for you. Soy crisps are Sunny?s favourite treat - and I smuggle them to him when no-one else is around because of a high disapproval level!
