This is lovely, butterflies are such delicate Creatures that I can see why they only live for a day. Sadly, that doesn't give us enough time to fully enjoy them. Thank you for sharing this nicely written poem. :)

Thanks for taking the time to read and review my poem. Glad you enjoyed it. A confession, many butterflies live longer than a day. Up to 2 months I believe. The day was utilised for effect. Anyway you take care and use every day to its fullest.

Thanks for your kind review . It was inspired by my late mothers love for butterflies. Nearly every room in our house when I was young had pictures of butterflies. Take care and have a wonderful day.
