This is nicely written. I do wonder about the repeating of end rhymes, but this is for a children's Halloween poem, so I'm sure they won't notice. the lines are simple and the theme easy and understand for them to follow.

What a fun verse?!!!
I love Halloween and tend to go WAY overboard with decorations, costumes and buying a plethora of candy.
I appreciate the presentation as it is as whimsical and your writing. The illustration is a perfect choice.
It is so refreshing to read poetry that pokes fun and makes me laugh at the same time.
The rhymes work well without force and create a tempo like a bouncing rubber ball.
This is a terrific contest entry, I hope it does well!
