Wow! What a wonderfully intriguing story. You left the reader hanging on until the end to see what you would do. This is a well-written story, and the large font made it easier to read. The ending was cold and fit the theme of the prompt. The visual is just okay because it's a pay phone booth. Would be better if it were a cell phone. You can type in your search engine "free cell phone photos" and download the image you select to your computer and upload it here. Good luck in the contest.

Love that the narrator is in a retirement complex and reacts accordingly-- better than anything on tv. The cheating wife carries the story with her voice messages. You add in a good motive to explain the senior's decision on what to do. A fun read.

Hello Friend,
Nice piece of General Fiction having captivating flow throughout from the beginning to the end, and exposing the wrong doer in a very interesting way.
The last line in the end is particularly noteworthy.
BEST OF LUCK in the contest.

This is brilliant! A wrong number dialed leads to storytelling of a unfaithful wife. Her life is falling apart as she continues to leave messages to the wrong number. A text from the wrong person ends her affair.
Good luck in the contest.

This is an interesting slant on a story, casting us and the protagonist as almost voyeurs. Then he uses his unexpected power to exorcise sine personal demons. Which is, after all, the main motivation most of us have for everything. Nicely written.

You had a soap opera going on, lol. It sounds like she lost her husband and boyfriend. It is sad her husband overheard this, but it was best. I am sure Dudley was stringing her alone. He probably married with children. And was just using her. She was the loser in the long run. Thank you for sharing.

Oh my goodness, that was a great read, very funny. The ending is great. The girl was asking for it. The whole think is a great piece of imaginative writing.

Great entry for the contest. You have told a great story, as you let your imagination soar. I once got a call late at night from someone telling me they were running late but would be at my place within an hour. Always wondered what happened as a result of this message going to a wrong number.

Ha! I wish I had a six for this! Brilliant! The read was enjoyable, and I didn't see the ending coming at all. Super clever! I wish you the best in the contest. Best, JohnC.

That was funny. I love an unexpected twist at the end of a story. I love how the protagonist got more involved while trying not to get involved. This was fun to read.
