Your coloring scheme and artwork really elevate the feeling one gets from reading your few words. It is a spectacular scene when you see the moon reflecting on any body of water.

Oh I like this one very much because of the layering. The moon could be the meditative monk, and of course a monk could be as well.
Reflecting is the perfect word choice for this delightful modern haiku.

reflection off the water...or the reflecting
of the monk in mediation...

How creative, "a lake full of moon" There is something about the moon, especially if reflected on a lake, that simply inspires and supports. It's beautiful.

Excellent modern winter haiku poem! Excellent picture presentation as well- this poem represents (to me) a good example of the latitude afforded in Modern haiku- in the expanded ability to use words - 'sits by a lake full of moon' - to develop a word picture in English- not so easily done in classic haiku- good work

Ms. Gypsy this is just a well-conceived and well-written haiku. The presentation is stunning. I love how you embed a smaller complimentary image to the larger visual. I must learn this technique. I had 2 sixes left, and you for sure deserved one of them. Blessings!
