This is another excellent chapter, Barbara. I'm happy the mothers convinced Cord to go to New York. It seems Alexandra's ex-fiancée just can't take a hint!
One little thing: Cordero slipped (arm) his around Alexandra's waist.

FYI I was having trouble with the advanced editor too. I don't know why the boxes are now unlabeled. But now I just copy my text into the regular box, save the document and then go back in, select advanced editor and I can change the font without a problem.

Thank you for the kind review and I have made the correction. I've just given up on advanced editor.

You are most welcome, Barbara. I can understand your frustrations with advance editor for sure. Hugs

Don't worry about the Advanced Editor, I and many others are having the same issues with it, since FanStory updated it.

You story is progressing nicely and the scene in New York is in keeping with the tone and direction of the story.

Good work.

Thank you for the kind review. I struggle with computers, so I am happy to hear it's just not me.

Another fine chapter, Barbara. I like the quiet strength Cordero has and how his and Ana's strengths blend together. Here are a few things, but I'm sure you've corrected them already:

"I'm not surprise me." [I'll include this, but I know someone's already mentioned it.]

Cordero slipped his around Alexandra's waist. [I think you need "arm" here.]

Great work, as usual!

Don't worry, every time I read my writing, I'm not happy with it, and have to change what I've written. Poor Cord he seems to be confronted by stroppy males, all vying for Ali's attention, some men are so arrogant, they can't no for an answer. NY can be quite different from the west, so beautifully written Barbara, blessings Roy

This was a great chapter. I know we have all been waiting to see how things would go with Ali's ex and we were not disappointed. Well done and good seeing Ulla back on track, too. Just one tiny spag in the Author notes. I agree about evil eddy as well. I intentionally left of(f) the accents

Another great chapter, and as usual I can't wait for the next one to see what happens. Is Alan going to cause problems before Ali can get out of New York. Great job, my friend, and have a great Sunday afternoon. Shirley

I can promise we will see Alan again, if my memory serves me correctly at least four more times. Thank you for the kind review.

I don't seen any errors in this story and I really enjoyed it. Allen is a terrible person. I'm glad Ali is really to be through with him. I know Cord hates the city and I'm wondering if he and Ali can work things out. I think she like the countryside, and she'll likely be the one to compromise.

Nicely written. Good work.
New York's noted as "The City that Never Sleeps', and I believe it's true." - maybe a semicolon instead of a comma?
Ms. Black up. - Just prior she was Mrs. Black.
After a few dances, - a 'few' dances. I figured it would be just one.
I was anticipating a good fight scene. (smiley face here)
Best wishes.

Nope, the first one was Mrs. Black, Ali's mom, and the second one is Ms. Black, Ali. I promise more interaction with Alan. Thank you for the kind review.

Well, it's great that Cordero went and he most certainly sorted out Alan. It was another great chapter. If I may suggest, I do miss a bit of description among all the dialogue. Ulla:)))

The ex-fieancee sounds like bad news. I hope he gets a true come-uppance at some point, but it sounds as though it could be difficult to make it sink in through his thick skin. Otherwise I'm pleased Ali so obviously wanted Cord there, but still a little disappointed not to have it cleared up why she didn't invite him in the first place. Well done otherwise. Kate xx

She didn't invite him because he hates cities. It's that simple. LOL Thank you for the kind review.
