As always, another enjoyable chapter of young love. But today, reading your notes at the bottom have given me hope. To learn the teacher makes mistakes too; although, I can't ever remember seeing many. Maybe someday I'll be able to spot my own mistakes like you, but for now, I just read right through them until they are pointed out. Then, they are so obvious. LOL. It's always a pleasure to read your posts! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the catch. Yes, I do make mistakes. I edit daily, but tend to read over the mistakes, thinking it says what I want it to say. Every time I read; I see things to change. Even in my published books. When I reread them, I see things I want to change.

You displayed Cord's romantic chivalry really well in that scene where he carries her suitcase, opens door for her, tries to put her at ease when it's obvious there's a lot of worry about her ex. That was the best part of the chapter. Lots of good, realistic, emotional dialogue between them, and the facial expressions get good treatment here too. estory

Just a thought. You could get by with a shorter recap of what's happened previously. Just my thinking. I love the picture. That's formal with a western touch. It reminds me of "Dallas." I wish they'd trust Ali to manage on her own. She'll be in a crowd of people so she should be all right even if the ex-fiance shows up. Fun bit about measurements for Cord's tux. It's amazing that the mothers take charge, but I suppose that's typical. I'll be waiting to see what happens at the party. judi

It is good for Ali to see Cord in her natural environment. I'm sure he won't look like a bumpkin, but he may be way cooler than the sophisticated men. Yeah, for Cord being willing to face her crowd.
