These words (or a very slightly different, UK version of them) are burned into my memories, as we recited them every morning at school for 12 years. I've never been a religious person, so to me, it was just part of school routine, but I still see the value - this is how we learn to act and behave as one, to understand we're in this life together.

I have a stainless steel cross and a copy of this prayer in my wallet. I hold the cross and recite the prayer in times of stress. It's amazing how quickly my stress lessens. It doesn't go away but I remember I don't have to face things alone. Thank you for posting.
