I played lead guitar for many rock and country bands for many years, kind of retired now, play casuals and jams.
Had some of the mornings you wrote about when on the road, have managed to forget the worst ones (I think).

I still play, but mainly in my home. Before covid, I was in a duo with a best friend: two acoustics, one excellent voice and one, well. somebody's gotta sing the harmony. Me.

Hi, Frank, yeah, I know about singing harmony. I used to sing a lot of melody, but after COVID my voice changed, and I now sing harmony, mostly Sundays at church.

Uh-no. Let's hope the words you had to omit, in order to get to merely fifty, were "And then I woke up." Cute, unexpected ending. The only thing is, you're assuming we know you're a guy, too. Something like "the sun glinted on my chest hairs"?

with a good surprise ending. Perhaps he was blonde

I like you leave it suspenseful in the end. We don't know if his response to Harry will be shocked, or it might be "it is that sumptuous blonde". There are gay one night stands too. The text is large and easy to read.a visual would enhance the short story.
