If you can feel it, then you know you are still his. Whenever I pray, I picture myself simply talking to the Lord as though he were right there with me. And joyful it is. God is most certainly there, regardless of what some may think or say.

I know of the story, and its veracity, of a boy who in fervent prayer sought and received answers because of the desire in his heart which proves if he could seek and receive an answer hope lives on so can we.
