Thankfully, a mist covers those plants daily. They stand there for everyone to view and enlighten. Those are beautiful. And the color is breathtaking.

Interesting use of the word 'shroud' which obviously has many connotations (and potentially counterpoints 'veil' in the previous line). You've done a great job of laying out a description that's also pregnant with implication and potential interpretation - always a good approach to these very short forms!

I saw "veil" as translucent, yet still covering the flowers. I guess it could be read differently. Thanks for your feedback, always interesting and appreciated.
